The Institute for Micronutrient Technology (IMT) was started in 1967 by Shrikrishna Ranade who is known as the father of micronutrient technology in India. As pioneers of micronutrient technology in India, we have been forerunners in the technical development of multi-nutrient products and custom mixtures to cater to the specific needs of the farmer and the crop. Cutting-edge technology teamed with years of ground experience, has made us leaders in our field both locally and globally.
For the last 40 years, our focus has been on supplying the agriculture industry with superior quality and consistently reliable plant nutrition products. We have redefined sustainable use of fertilizers and many progressive farmers have reinforced their existing cultural practices by incorporating Balanced Plant Nutrition™ (BPN)™ principles. Our fully owned company subsidiary has been active in the USA under the name of Micnelf USA Inc. Micnelf USA has been providing agro-consultancy and our range of micronutrient products to many North American and Central American growers.
